Tourwriter named in Deloitte Fast 500 index 2017, 2014, 2013 and 2012

Tourwriter and Deloitte Fast 500 IndexEvery year, Deloitte releases the list of the top 500 tech companies with the largest growth in the Asia Pacific. Tourwriter has been named in this list for 4 years; 2017, 2014, 2013 and 2012.

Combining technological innovation, entrepreneurship and rapid growth, Technology Fast 500 companies — large, small, public, and private — span a variety of industry sectors, and are transforming the way business is done today. The companies are ranked according to their revenue growth over the last three years, setting the standard for high growth technology businesses in the Asia Pacific Region.

There has consistently been a wide representation of New Zealand businesses included in this list. Deloitte Private partner Darren Johnson states of the 2017 list; “The Asia Pacific region continues to be at the forefront of revolutionary digital change and New Zealand is right in the mix. This year’s Kiwi representation on the index is continued evidence that our technology companies are making an impact on the world stage.“

Eligibility for the Technology Fast 500 requires that companies own proprietary intellectual property or technology that is sold to customers in products that contribute to a majority of the company’s operating revenues. Companies must have base-year operating revenues of at least US$50,000. Additionally, companies must be in business for a minimum of three years and be headquartered in the Asia Pacific. This ranking is compiled from nominations submitted directly to the Technology Fast 500 program, and public company database research.

Tourwriter is proud to be a 4 times recipient of this award and is looking forward to continued growth over the coming years.  Managing Director Glenn Campbell said “It gets harder every year to achieve the same rate of growth, but we did it! It’s something to be proud of, as only a few New Zealand companies have done it for 3 consecutive years and again in 2017”.
